The Southeast Regional Alliance is a community and economic development region serving Grant, Harney, and Malheur Counties.  It functions as the Regional Investment Board, Regional Partnership and Southeast Area Commission on Transportation. The Regional Investment Board receives lottery funding through the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department to be used for economic development purposes.  These monies are available to entities in the form of grants or loans to support projects that will create jobs in the region. The long-term strategy in the Southeast Regional Alliance area is to make the appropriate investments that lead toward a viable economy and sustainable communities. More information on the grant program and an application packet may be downloaded from this site.

The Regional Partnership is made up of the Southeast Regional Alliance and regional representatives of the Governor’s Economic Revitalization Team. The Team includes the state Departments of Agriculture, Economic and Community Development, Environmental Quality, Housing and Community Services, Land Conservation and Development, State Lands, Transportation and a member of the governor’s staff.  The purpose of the Regional Partnership is to develop a collaborative working relationship among local partners and state agencies as they address agreed upon issues, challenges and goals.
