The Baker-Morrow Regional Partnership is a unique collaboration of community leaders whose goal is to achieve economic diversification and community prosperity.  The Partnership promotes the alignment of local, regional, state and federal partners in the development and implementation of this unified investment strategy for the Region.

Like the rest of Eastern Oregon , the Baker-Morrow Region has higher unemployment rates and lower per capita income than the state as a whole. The Baker-Morrow Region has struggled with surviving the same low agricultural commodity prices and declining timber revenues from federal lands. The Region’s strategy is to build on its strength: a track record of success in implementing economic development. The successes in each county have been made possible by dynamic vision and unified action.  These same qualities will form the foundation for the Regional Partnership.
